The Amazon Series: Amazon

"Amazon" is part of a group of encaustic painting inspired by different aspects related to Brasil, my home country. Here I worked with areal photographs and maps of the Amazon rain forest to draw attention to the complex issues and power disputes that have threaten this magnificent forest, putting its native people and eco system in such great danger.
